Kobusch UK, the leading producer of tailor-made rigid and semi-rigid packaging systems, is joining the Rigid Division of Exopack Holdings S.A., a member of Exopack Holdings S.A.
This move follows the announcement of the creation of the new Rigid Division within Exopack Holdings S.A. The legal structure of Kobusch UK Ltd, who have three manufacturing facilities in the UK at Stanley, Co Durham, Livingston in Scotland and Caerphilly in Wales, will not change.
These three sites are primarily focused on producing extruded and thermo-formed articles for the retail and food service market. They will increase the scope of Exopack’s Rigid Division by providing a sizable presence in the UK.
Dieter Bergner, CEO of Exopack’s Global Rigid Division, said: “Management and employees of PACCOR welcome their new colleagues and are looking forward to working together closely”.
“We are currently putting an organizational structure in place which will enable all of us to make the best use of our knowledge and experience across the Rigid Division organisation,” he explained.
In the wake of this move, Graham Barton has been appointed as Kobusch UK’s managing director.
“Graham has over 20 years’ experience in the plastic and paper packaging business and a strong operational background”, Dieter Bergner commented.
