DGB Refrigeration, providers of specialist refrigeration services and equipment, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
It was February 1994 when the present owner, Doug Barlow, with the help and support of his wife, sister and brother-in-law, established DGB Refrigeration following the purchase of a business which Doug had been managing since 1979.
With the continued support of both customers and suppliers, many of which are still trading with DGB today, the business went from strength to strength, initially located in a small factory unit in Miall Street, Radford, Nottingham. However, with the rapid growth of the business it quickly became necessary to open a second unit.
At the outset DGB had a vision of being the best possible provider of services to the vending industry. With a dedicated workforce working to ensure customer satisfaction and with a no nonsense right first time approach to quality DGB experienced a continuation of the initial growth which resulted in relocating into larger purpose built premises in 1999.
Despite the growth and success it is still very much a family business dedicated to delivering the best possible service, and products of the highest quality, to their customers.
In recent months Doug has taken a back seat and handed over the reins to his son Gary, who has worked closely with his father for 16 years, inheriting the same philosophy and beliefs.
