European WaterCare Group has announced that its general water filter recycling centre in Harlow Essex is now fully open.
WaterCare will recover and recycle any of the main manufacturers single use water filters as the main constituent is recoverable plastic.
The plastics once ground up in a specialist process are then graded and re introduced back into the moulding process to be used again in non-pressure related mouldings.
For a long time WaterCare has been making strides in ecological water treatment units. When it comes to the Watercare CTU and IX ranges, 0% plastic is sent to landfill or incineration
Carbon once recovered is treated and converted into reusable pellets.
