OPENING TIMES

4, 5 & 6 May: 9.30am-6.30pm

7 May: 9.30am-5pm

“Since 1998, the year of its first edition, Venditalia has been the key date for all of the vending sector,” commented Ernesto Pylons, president of Venditalia Services, which organises the show along with Trust. “The aim now is to provide a global event – worldwide, in fact. The location is everything, as vending is arguably ‘Made in Italy’ with 70% of the world’s vending machine producers being Italian. And after Japan, our market is the number two player in the world.”

The 2014 edition of the show had 250 exhibitors and 20,000 registered visitors in 2014, and this year’s event is expected to be even stronger. The lead up to the show has featured an intense promotional campaign that has gradually revealed the new features offered by the fair.

NEW FOR 2016

October 2015 saw the launch of Venditalia’s brand new website and communication tools at the General State of Vending event organized in Milan by Trust and Confcommercio.

Also new for 2016 is a dedicated zone comprising Business Matching, the Reading Room and Area New Entry. This space will occupy an area of over 200 square meters at the heart of the event in proximity to the Trust space, and can be customized with three different set-up solutions or ad hoc seabed and exhibitors. Area New Entry is dedicated to new companies that want to introduce themselves to the world of vending. Business Matching refers to a key Venditalia service, in which the show organisers organise targeted business meetings with distributors and manufacturers according to the interests of the company. This provides exhibitors with a unique opportunity to exhibit products and distribute materials to relevant parties. In the Reading room, visitors can see and pick up copies of the magazines of Venditalia’s 2016 media partners.

Other new services include the ability to book meeting space and warehouses in a designated area of the Pavilion, as well as the use of meeting rooms and spaces made available by Venditalia. Venditalia will also offer a kindergarten area, offering a space for children of the exhibitors and visitors to play.

EDUCATION

Alongside exhibitors showcasing a wide range of products and services, Venditalia is putting on an intense and qualified program of conferences and events covering key ‘hot topics’ currently facing the industry and market. Organized by Trust and Venditalia, these will be joined by international talk shows, meetings, debates and presentations managed by the companies themselves.

On the Friday evening of the show (6 May), Venditalia invites visitors and exhibitors to an exclusive gala event at East End Studios. The theme is ‘La Bella Vita’, and celebrates everything that makes Italy famous. The night will feature cocktails and dinner under the stars, with the flavours selected Michelin-starred chef Mirko Bernardini; entertainment from the BIT company who will perform their show ‘All That Musical’, and DJ sets late into the night. Tickets are available to purchase on the show website.
