Crafting the future of soft drinks

‘Crafting the Future’ is the theme for the next UK Soft Drinks Conference on May 15 in central London, because consumers want to identify more personally with what they drink, and more people are seeking adult tastes without alcohol.

The event will be opened by Tim Warrillow, chief executive officer of Fever-Tree. Major players will also be strongly represented including the UK managing directors of Britvic, Innocent and Coca-Cola European Partners.

Two key sessions in the day will be Sorting Plastic and Solving Health.  One year on from the launch of the UK Soft Drinks Industry Levy, Professor Jack Winkler will speak about the latest science and guidance on balancing action on sugar, sweeteners and sweetness.

The day will conclude with the 2019 InnoBev Awards to celebrate the best in global beverage innovation across 18 categories of products, marketing and sustainability.  The lunch break introduces an Innovator Marketplace for brands to showcase their latest products.

“We have crafted the craftiest possible programme this year,” commented Zenith Global Chairman Richard Hall.  “This is the best way for senior industry managers, innovators, retailers, suppliers, opinion formers and advisers to gain a complete overview of the latest developments, issues and opportunities.”

The conference is organised by global food and drink experts Zenith Global in partnership with the British Soft Drinks Association. Full programme details and online booking are available at www.zenithglobal.com/events and the same address may be used for entries into the 2019 InnoBev Awards.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available for the conference and awards.
