Broderick Group has announced that it has officially achieved Certified B Corporation status, marking a major milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to responsible business practices, sustainability and positive social impact.
The prestigious B Corp certification is only awarded to businesses that meet high standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability. It recognises organisations that are committed to balancing profit with purpose and using business as a force for good.
For Broderick Group, achieving B Corp status reflects years of continuous investment in sustainable operations, ethical partnerships, employee wellbeing and community support. It also underlines the company’s ambition to keep improving and creating meaningful value for customers, colleagues and the wider environment.
The application was successfully led by Broderick Group’s QEHS manager, Elaine Clayton and QEHS coordinator, Lewis Barratt-Wilson.
Of the certification, managing director, John Broderick, said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved Certified B Corporation status. This is a fantastic achievement for Broderick Group and a real reflection of the hard work, values and dedication of our entire team.
“Becoming a B Corp is not just about receiving certification, it is about being part of a global movement of businesses committed to doing things the right way. We have always believed success should go hand in hand with responsibility, and this recognition reinforces that commitment.
“I’d like to thank every member of our team for helping us reach this milestone. Their passion and effort have made this possible, and I’m excited about what we can achieve next.”
As the UK’s leading independent vending provider, Broderick Group sees this certification as another step forward in its journey towards continual improvement, responsible growth and long-term positive impact.
Going forward, the business remains focused on reducing its environmental footprint, supporting local communities, championing its people and delivering outstanding service to customers across the UK.
Achieving Certified B Corporation status places Broderick Group among a growing community of forward-thinking organisations using business to create a better future.
