Designed to recognise and reward companies and individuals that have made exceptional contributions to the trade, the Vendies Awards took place on the 7th June at the Grand Connaught Rooms , London, allowing the industry’s very best to network and celebrate amongst their peers.
After months of anticipation, the winners of the Vendies Awards 2023 have been announced, with the help of our wonderful sponsors!
| The first award of the day was the Best Ancillary Product or Service, which was won by Vendmanager & Coffeemanager, by SB Software. Following on from this was the Best Beverage Brand award, which Get More Vits won.
Next up was the Best Healthy Product, with Get More Vits’ Mango & Passionfruit Vitamin D drink being awarded Highly Commended, and VITHIT’s Lean and Green, being crowned the winner. The Best Machine Innovation was awarded to the Selfly Freezer, by Selfly Store, with Coffetek’s MIA Easy Milk placing as Highly Commended. Up next was the Best New Product with was won by Grenade Ltd for theirGrenade Oreo Protein bar. Vianet’s SmartContact Pro, won Best Payment System, whilst Coffetek’s Neo Q, was awarded Best Sustainable Product. The Best Snack/Confectionery Product award was given to Walkers MAX Paprika, PepsiCo, whilst the Best Website award was won by Livewell Vending, with Coffetek placing as Highly Commended. Evoca UK was awarded the Best Customer Service award, with Westomatic Vending Services & Aimia Foods being given the Best Vending Project award. The Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award was won by Supplements for Sports Vending, with Selecta being Highly Commended, whilst Carl Hunter from Kepak was crowned the Rising Star. Gillian White, from the Crane Payment Innovations & the AVA won the Woman of the Year, for the Suppliers, with Jill Bode from VMC being Highly Commended.Diane Hunter from Apple Vending won Woman of the Year for the Operators, with Julie Jones from Coinadrink Limited placing as Highly Commended. The Best Route Operator was given to Debbie Henstock from Apple Vending, with Stefan Hvizdak from Selecta, winning the Best Area Manager award. Mike Powell from Coinadrink Limited won Best Service Engineer, with Simon Trott from Apple Vending placing as Highly Commended. The Best Regional Operator was awarded to Livewell Vending, with Coinadrink Limited placing as Highly Commended, but Coinadrink was crowned the winner of the Best Overall Operator. The last award of the day was The Lifetime Achievement Award, which won by Paul Howard, an industry legend. |
