DSC 1437 Meet the 2024 Vendies winners

Designed to recognise and reward companies and individuals that have made exceptional contributions to the trade, the Vendies Awards took place on the 5th June at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, allowing the industry’s very best to network and celebrate amongst their peers. And after months of anticipation, the winners were announced.

The first award of the day was the Best Ancillary Product or Service, which was won by Vendmanager – SB Software with Nebrak Print & Branding Services being Highly Commended. Following on from this was the Best Healthy Product award, which VITHIT Detox – VITHIT won.

Next up was the Best Machine Innovation, with Stockwell 2.0 – 365 Retail Markets being awarded Highly Commended, and Vitro X5 MIA – Coffetek being crowned the winner.

The Best New Product (Machines & Solutions) was awarded to the Refreshment Destinaton, by Nebrak. Up next was the Best New Product (Snacks & Beverages) which was won by VITHIT for their VITHIT Sparkling.

VPOS Touch – Nayax UK won Best Payment System, whilst PURITY C Product Range – BRITA was awarded Best Sustainable Product.

The Best Snack/Confectionery Product award was given to Original Drumstick Squahsies 120g – Swizzels, with the Jelly Bean Factory 113g Pouch placing Highly Commended. Whilst the Best Hot Beverage award was won by Galaxy Hot Chocolate – Aimia Foods. 

Next up was the Best Soft Drink, which was won by Carabao – Carabao with JUICEBURST Summer Fruits 500ml – PURITY placing Highly Commended. Following on from this was the Vending Paper Cup of the Year, which The Red Swirl – 4 Aces won and Go-Vend Paper Vending Cup – Go-Pak being Highly Commended.

The Best Website award was won by Automatic Refresh, whilst the Best Vending Projectwas won by Decorum & Pepsico.

Coinadrink was awarded the Best Customer Service (Operator) award, with Westways Vending placing Highly Commended. Whilst SB Software was given the Best Customer Service (Supplier) award, and Coffetek placing Highly Commended.

The Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award was won by Westomatic, whilst Boost Inc was crowned the Automated Retail Award, with Storelify (Boxy) being Highly Commended.

Next up Stuart Neal from Coffetek won the Best Area Manager award, with Dino Verlardo from Westways Vending being Highly Commended. Keiran Jones from Coinadrink won Best Service Engineer, with Matt Tovey from Coffetek placing as Highly Commended.

Andrea Goswell from Westomatic won the Woman of the Year – Suppliers, with Louise Wardle from Evoca being Highly Commended. Natalie Baker from Westways Vending won Woman of the Year – Operators, with Samantha MacKirdy from Coinadrink placing as Highly Commended. 

Flynn Bradley from Venda Valet Ltd was crowned Rising Star, whilst Jack Whitehouse from Pepsico won the Sales Shark award. Vending Hero was awarded to Chris Penn from 4 Aces.

Next up was theBest Operator (Small)and was won by East Midland Vending, with SV365 beingHighly Commended. The Best Operator (Medium)was awarded to Westways Vending, following on with Best Overall Operator which Excel was crowned winner.

The last award of the day was The Lifetime Achievement Award, which was won by John Crichton, an industry legend.
