Cooler Sense Wins Safety Accolade

Ipswich-based firm, Cooler Sense, which supplies and services water coolers and drinking water boilers, has achieved accreditation by the British Water Cooler Association (BWCA) becoming a Full Member of the Association, an accolade which certifies the company as amongst the best for safety and service.

Cooler Sense customers are based in East Anglia, Northamptonshire and parts of London. Set up only a year ago, Cooler Sense has an ethos of safety first, believing that it has a duty of care to provide water to companies, schools and other organisations that is safe.

MD Mark Phipps says: “We are proud to have become fully accredited members of the British Water Cooler Association as this underlines that we adhere to strict guidelines for service. It gives us credibility as our customers have the guarantee that we are doing the job properly.  For some of our customers, such as facilities management groups, such accreditation is a must. Every machine we install is fully serviced at regular intervals three times a year, exceeding even the high standards set by the industry body.”

Cooler Sense’s approach clearly makes for good business sense as the company is growing rapidly. Nicky Phipps, is the firm’s office manager.  She adds: “In addition to our new BWCA Full Member accreditation, we are also proud to have achieved SAFE Contractor status – another programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety.”
