AVA members and guests celebrate at end-of-year bash

The annual Vending & Automated Retail Association (AVA) Christmas Luncheon was held at Tobacco Dock in London on December 7 attended by over 260 guests from the industry.

After a drinks reception, guests were treated to entertainment presented by Futurum in what was described as a ‘Once in a lifetime trip into the unknown’ followed by a three-course meal and networking.

AVA chief executive David Llewellyn said everyone was pleased with the event, and a good time was had by all.

He said: “The Christmas Luncheon has been held for nearly 20 years and has become an essential part of the industry calendar. It is a great opportunity for members (and their guests) to get together, celebrate the year and network with industry colleagues.”

A prize raffle held in support of Dementia UK, raised over £3,000 on the day.
