Rhea WEPs Rhea signs the Women's Empowerment Principles

Rhea has announced its commitment to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs). Established by UN Women and the UN Global Compact in 2010, these seven principles serve as a global roadmap for promoting gender equality and female empowerment in the workplace.

For Rhea, adopting the WEPs represents a further step in a structured approach toward social sustainability. By putting people, respect, diversity, and inclusion in the spotlight, Rhea reinforces a long-term vision dedicated to creating shared, responsible value.

By joining the WEPs, Rhea formalises its commitment to:

  • promoting equal opportunities and fair labor practices;
  • fostering a corporate culture based on mutual respect and active listening;
  • encouraging professional and personal growth, without discrimination;
  • driving a more equitable and sustainable development model.

“Signing the Women’s Empowerment Principles is the natural evolution of a path we’ve been paving for years”, says Andrea Pozzolini, CEO, Rhea.  “From the ‘Rhea Women Spark’ initiative to our targeted empowerment training, we have always believed that investing in people, talent and equal opportunity is essential to building a resilient, responsible, and forward-thinking company”.

“This commitment translates into concrete organisational choices and processes every day,” adds Virginia D’Agata, People&Organization Manager, Rhea. “From recruitment and professional development to training and parental leave, we work to ensure that equal opportunities, inclusion and meritocracy guide the full employee lifecycle. A dedicated Gender Equality Policy consolidates this approach, making our tools and responsibilities even clearer.”
