Wittern becomes Coffetek

Wittern Limited has changed its name to Coffetek.  The move is in line with the strategy outlined in July 2007 following Coffetek’s acquisition of a majority shareholding in the Wittern business – a move that has initiated a major investment programme that will see a significant expansion of its product portfolio and strengthening of its support service operations.
Accompanying the name change is a restructuring of the company’s senior management team. New Managing Director, Richard Callwood, joins the company from Automatic Products and Nigel Wulko comes in as Finance Director.
“The new name is more closely aligned to our position as a true OEM. Coffetek has been a leading manufacturer of hot beverage systems for approaching 20 years and has established a reputation as a dynamic and trusted brand committed to developing a complete range of high quality, durable equipment that adds value to operator businesses,” explains Richard Callwood. “These values sit well alongside those of the Wittern business and have played a key role in ensuring the smooth integration of both companies over the last six months.”
Following a strategic review of all operations, Coffetek will retain its sales and distribution centre in Oxfordshire and continue to invest in its existing manufacturing facilities in Bristol.
