Vending PARIS fulfils its promise!

The latest session of Vending PARIS confirms the exhibition’s role as the mustattend event for the vending world and marks a significant milestone in the show’s history, with new themes and events reflecting the latest industry trends and developments.

The Vending Canteen! New this year: the ‘fully automatic’ restaurant, an original concept presenting innovations in design, technology and products (more than 102 products selected).

The 11 ‘tasting bars’ attracted a lot of visitors who could try out the latest machines and products in a convivial environment with a modern design. Some of the most successful ideas were the Pasta Box, ‘hot’ ready meals, organic products and smoothies!

The Vending Paris conferences: more than 400 people attended the conferences gathering industry professionals and experts to talk about the vending market situation in France and worldwide, bringing out concrete solutions to a range of issues. Topics related to nutrition, sustainable development, new technologies and quality, were particularly appreciated and illustrated in a practical way by the experts.

A conference to remember: ‘A global panorama of innovations in the vending sector’ – Bernard Boutboul, CEO of Gira Conseil, presented the results of a survey regarding the vending market, concluding that the vending sector is in tune with new consumption’ trends and offers real potential for development in the lunch segment thanks to its 24-hour availability.

Finally, the International Business Day on 29 October put international vending firmly in the spotlight. This event, sponsored by EVA, was a real opportunity for national vending associations from all over Europe (Navsa, BDV, Confida, ACV, etc.) to speak on behalf of their own markets.

The conference included a plenary session on the vending market in Europe, led by Catherine Piana (Director of EVA), and a panel discussion bringing together European vending industry players.

H2O Direct at Vending Paris

Exhibiting for the first time at Vending Paris, H2O Direct introduced their 2010 range to the European market. Products on stand included H2O-Hidrotek water filters for mains fed water coolers and vending machines, plus reverse osmosis water filtration systems for home and office use, as well as bottled/mains fed water machines from Qidi.

Hidrotek, along with H2O Directs’ parent company, The Divine Water Company have over thirty years combined experience in the water industry and have been searching for distributors throughout Europe to promote their new and exciting range.

“H2O Direct think this show was perfect for launching our new product ranges, and we have managed to start up a dealer network which will be a great advantage to us with sales in the future. We had many customers visit us with great success and feedback.”

Jofemar at Vending Paris

Visitors to the Vending Paris show were able to see a wide selection of Jofemar’s best selling vending machines.

The full range of Vision machines was one of the main attractions for the public, from successful and established versions to a new model with additional selections and an elevator feature. This machine was configured internally to demonstrate its potential for dispensing larger, heavier products, such as drills and other tools.

Making their debut were versions of the Vision with a plain front, ideal to vend items where the products are not for show. Also premiered was the new Microwave module, purpose built to stand alongside the Vision and Iceplus food machines, creating a new hot food system for staff restaurants.

Well known for its payment systems, Jofemar introduced the remarkable new J300 online cashless payment system, telemetry enabled, where each transaction and user may be controlled from a central location.

The quality of the coffee served from the new Coffeemar G250 amazed visitors. Another model that created quite a stir was the Gourmet hot food vendor with integral microwave, which has already proved popular amongst vending professionals.

Reports Managing Director of Jofemar UK, Vassilis Gotsis: “This was an important exhibition for Jofemar and we had many new products on show for the very first time. The enthusiasm of the visitors from around the globe for our machines was very encouraging, with the new Vision models being well received. Feedback on the new Microwave module system leads us to believe we have got a huge success on our hands.”
