The EVA welcomes its newest member Astrosystems International Ltd

Astrosys International Ltd specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of currency handling products, under the following brands: Microcoin electronic multi-coin acceptor, and Global Bill Acceptors bank-note validator.

The business scope of this new Member of the EVA is diversified internationally, with a strong network of offices in Australia, Hong Kong, the United States and the United Kingdom. Ms. Debbie Robb, who is the General Manager of the European regional office, based in the UK, Astrosystems Ltd, states : “Having been members of the WVA, we are now delighted to formalise our relationship with the new EVA structure. From a manufacturer’s standpoint, the EVA continues to play a strong advocacy role with coin minting and banknote production, which ultimately benefits the vending industry as a whole. Astrosystems Ltd also looks forward to building its profile in the vending industry through its association with the EVA.”

The European Vending Association has an important role in the discussions worldwide with the Mints and Central Banks, which are in charge of the production of coins and banknotes. Catherine Piana, the EVA’s Director General commented about the recent membership: “I am delighted that Astrosys International Ltd has decided to join the EVA Community. Having absorbed most of the activities previously run by the WVA, members will continue to benefit from the support of the EVA in their international activities.
