Seda UK gears up for London Coffee Festival

Seda UK is fast making preparations for the London Coffee Festival which takes place 27-29 April 2012 at the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane. Following the successful launch of the event last year Seda UK decided to rank among the headline sponsors for a second time.

Seda UK is supporting the festival by exclusively providing 250,000 paper cups which will be distributed to around 100 of London’s best in class independent cafés as well as coffee stalls at the festival venue.

Seda UK’s unique, patented double wall cups, ideal for on-the-go coffee consumption, will be available in 8oz and 12oz formats together with a 4oz single wall version. All types will feature the London Coffee Festival design and logo together with the dates to further promote the event. They will be recognised as the official cups of the festival and will be used in the two-week lead up as well as throughout the three days of the event itself. Furthermore, Seda UK will reinforce its presence by exhibiting at the festival.

Ludovic Rossignol, Head of Events at festival organisers, Allegra Strategies said: “The in-store campaign powered by Seda UK is a fantastic opportunity to spread the word about the London Coffee Festival, delivering the message straight to the heart of London’s independent coffee shop scene.”

The London Coffee Festival is a key event during UK coffee week (23-29 April 2012) and celebrates London’s best coffee and gourmet food. Over 12,000 visitors are expected at the Brick Lane location for the three-day festival with 50% of all ticket sales revenue going to Project Waterfall, a charitable initiative established to deliver clean water to coffee producing countries in Africa.

Seda UK Limited is part of Seda International Packaging Group, a leader in rigid and flexible packaging solutions. With its manufacturing facility in South Wales, Seda UK is recognised for its comprehensive range of printed paper cups for the food and food-service industries.
