Preparations under way for revamped Vending Paris Exhibition in 2010!

The 2010 edition of the VENDING PARIS trade show will take place from 27 to 29 October in Paris at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, in partnership with the French vending association Navsa (Chambre Syndicale Nationale de Vente et Services Automatiques). Attracting more than 10,000 professionals and 200 exhibitors in 2008, VENDING PARIS has established itself as the industry’s key event.

On this point, Jean-Marc Nigond, President of Navsa, is very clear: “The biennial Vending Paris international trade show at Porte de Versailles is now a must-attend event. For 3 days, VENDING PARIS addresses the concerns of professionals, managers and major buyers alike, and analyses the strategic challenges facing the industry.”

Numerous new developments for a changing market

In a period of changing consumer habits (less time spent around the table at mealtimes, rise in on-the-go consumption trends), the vending industry is seeing new opportunities for growth. Faced with increasing consumer demand for more product choice and higher quality, industry players need to reinvent themselves and break new ground.

The show’s completely revamped conference programme – with a special product focus, plus spotlights on emerging markets, nutrition, vending and local authorities etc. – will give industry professionals a chance to exchange views on current topical issues brought to the fore by changing consumer habits.

Exciting new developments for 2010 include the creation of an area totally dedicated to food sourcing to meet the needs of decision-makers on the lookout for new products in line with consumer demand. An ideal opportunity to review the state of play in international vending and to pick up some great ideas!

Last but not least, as 80% of visitors will come looking for new products, Vending Paris 2010 is introducing an Innovations theme trail to increase the visibility of exhibitors’ latest products. With the help of new product guides available at www.vendingparis.com, professionals will be able to discover the products that interest them prior to the show and then track them down easily once on site thanks to specific signage. The show is also very committed to sustainable development – particular attention will be paid to those innovative exhibitors that take this approach.

Vending PARIS is an event organised by Reed Expositions, the leading trade show organiser. The main events organised by the group in this sector are: Equip’hotel Paris, Equip’hotel Abu Dhabi and the Sandwich & Snack Show. They bring together more than 2,000 exhibitors and 120,000 visitors.
