The organisers of fmVend have announced that the one day event planned for 20th May will now not be taking place.
Publishing Director Hannah Dedman said: “We were delighted that so many of you could see how this brand new concept would benefit your company and drive the industry forward, but without the full financial support of the wider industry the event is simply unviable.
“There are a number of factors which have put pressure on the industry, including commitment to other events such as Café Culture, Vendex, Essential Café and AVEX, and we appreciate budgets are tight. However, it is disappointing not to see the fmVend event materialise.”
As a forward thinking media and events company a significant investment was made in sourcing highly targeted data for the project together with extensive marketing and research, creating fresh opportunities for the trade which will continue to be used to the industry’s advantage. The organisers therefore remain focused, passionate and excited about other ways of reaching the FM market.
