There’s only one week to go before the intrepid (and certifiably insane) group of 15 cyclists from our industry set off from London to Paris, in aid of Macmillan & EdUKaid.
Departing London (by the Tower) on 4th June and arriving Paris (the other Tower) on the 7 June, around 20 industry colleagues and ‘guest’ riders will undertake this exciting challenge.
Cycling on the team will be: John Ferguson of Bettavend; Stuart Coutts, Connect Vending; Ian Keefe & Andy Cunliffe, Benders Paper Cups; James Aston of James Aimer; Mark & Gary Braid, Scott Raeburn, Colin Robson, and Mike Smart of Myrtle; Jilly Beale (Guest); Roger Bunn, Crane and David Brady of N&W.
The training has been hard, through fair weather and foul, but the boys and Jilly have been racking up the miles over the last few months, with some individuals riding distances in excess of 150 miles over a weekend!
The cycling team have been showing their commitment on the bikes, and now they are now asking their friends and colleagues in the vending industry to show their commitment and support to the worthy charities – please dig deep and donate generously here:
