N&W will now be operating its delivery service across the UK, with a brand new fleet of trucks to enhance the service provided. The fleet replaces the former group of trucks, which had been in operation for a number of years. The new vehicles, a range of Scania branded 15-ton trucks, and a 7.5 ton MAN vehicle, will operate out of N&W’s UK base in Bilston, West Midlands.
Logistics manager at N&W, Mick Butler, said: “Our old fleet of trucks has been in service for a number of years, and, it was time to update them. The new vehicles will meet the latest EU emission laws.
“Our drivers cover a huge geographical area, and we have invested in a smaller sized vehicle which is particularly useful for the central London area and sites where height or weight restrictions apply.”
At N&W the fleet are dedicated to first class deliveries to trade and the out of home sector, giving customers an excellent delivery service every time. As the fleet only ever carry vending and beverage machines, or spare parts, there is no danger of damaging any machine through handling other goods.
