The UK water-dispenser and hydration industry has announced the formation of a new trade body – the Water-dispenser & Hydration Association (WHA). This new association represents the amalgamation of the BWCA and the EDWCA.
The new body is said to offer the industry one strong voice and with unimpeachable standards, give an audited mark of quality for customers to look for, with “unequalled support” for operators.
The association says the water cooler industry has undergone a transformation over recent years, with companies expanding their portfolios to include HORECA products, water fountains, under-sink taps and hot water boilers offering hydration solutions for all markets. This wide range of products and markets are all supported under the umbrella of the new WHA.
The WHA will be launched on Thursday, March 19, in Milton Keynes, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, at an event entitled “Celebrating our Industry Evolution”.
It will feature a morning conference, networking lunch, afternoon trade show and charity auction industry dinner.
