Nestle Professional® launches the MULTISNACK® ICON vending machine
A new vending machine, developed to promote impulse purchases in the leisure market, has been unveiled by Nestlé Professional®.
The MULTISNACK® ICON machine – whose closed-front design is inspired by touch-screen technology – has a dedicated promotional window above the coin mechanic, enabling operators to capitalise on impulse purchase and drive sales through new and limited edition products.
Matt Lane, Head of Vending at Nestlé Professional said: “Capturing the attention of the customer is vital in the vending market, which is why we have developed a machine with large, prominent icons that are both eye-catching for the consumer and, critically, give operators greater control over the planograms and layout.”
The larger icons are to highlight best sellers and drive footfall to the machine while the smaller icons are categorised with the appropriate product range that best meets consumer needs.
Lane continued: “To achieve cut-through in an increasingly competitive market, it is crucial that we differentiate ourselves from the competition and add value to the customer experience. This is exactly what the new machine delivers.
