More than just Vending!

More than just VendingThe Vendies, the vending industry’s prestigious awards programme , will run in conjunction with the EDWCA’s 2016 Trade Show for the first time, on Tuesday 28 June at the 5* Chelsea Harbour Hotel: two industries, working together, to provide the best possible solution for the end user.

Bottled water and water coolers have been integrated into all aspects of our public and private lives, as the health and lifestyle benefits of sufficient hydration are recognised. They represent an unmissable revenue opportunity for operators and facilities mangers.

Other drinks like coffee, tea and juices all help to replenish vital fluids and the quality of the water content is Key: “Environmental factors at the source can affect taste, smell and texture, and therefore the water used in products like coffee and tea, which are 98-99% water, is an essential factor in the quality of the finished product,” insists leading market research company Mintel.

This is exactly why the EDWCA (European Drinking Water Cooler Association) has teamed up with Datateam Business Media, the publisher of Vending International magazine and organiser of The Vendies, to hold its 2016 Trade Show alongside the Awards event in June. Water and Vending are intrinsically linked and by coming together to talk to customers, it is hoped that buyers of these products and services will be able to make even better choices going forward.

Offering operators and facilities managers a full day of networking, visitors to the trade show will have the opportunity to catch up with existing suppliers and establish new contacts, while perusing a number of interesting and innovative products.

By also attending The Vendies, the prestigious annual awards programme for the vending and water industries, they will have further opportunities to talk to key players in the vending industry and consolidate their food and beverage provision.

Tracy Corroll of the EDWCA commented: “We are delighted to offer our members the opportunity to showcase their business and develop stronger business relationships within coffee and vending.”

Hannah Dedman, event director at Datateam Business Media, organiser of The Vendies, commented: “We are delighted to be working with the EDWCA to unite their Trade Show with The Vendies 2016. The Vendies Manufacturer and Supplier Awards celebrates innovation and excellence in the vending and water industries, and will make an exciting precursor to The Vendies 2017 which will see the event return to Manchester for its fifth birthday!”
