Kenco adds new Rainforest Alliance PG tips

The Kenco Coffee Company has announced the launch of PG tips tea with Rainforest Alliance Certification across its Kenco In-Cup, Kenco Singles and Kenco FreshSeal ranges.
As much as 50 per cent of PG tips tea now comes from Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM farms and Unilever, the maker of PG tips, is committed to getting certification for the rest of the tea that goes into the brew by 2010.
Kenco already offers an extensive range of coffees from Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM farms under the Kenco Sustainable Development name, first introduced in 2004. The addition of tea from Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM farms to Kenco’s vending range gives clients’ and customers’ an even more compelling ethical offer which meets both the consumers’ growing desire to ‘make a difference’ and customers’ desire to support sustainable farming.
