Coffee giant Jacobs Douwe Egberts will pass production and sale of its paper in-cups over to Brupac and Maix Vending.
As o
f January 2016, the new manufacturers now produce and sell JDE Professional paper in-cup products for brands including Maxwell House and Kenco, under licence. No changes will be made to the look or composition of the product.
With 150,000 cups currently manufactured per day, the anticipation is that Brupac and Maix will grow the business through increased customer focus. All existing JDE Professional customers will be contacted with information on purchasing products directly from the new suppliers.

With their existing supply networks, they will be able to ensure Jacobs Douwe Egberts customers benefit from great service and expertise in the in-cup field.”
Kevin Mason, managing director of Maix Vending, said: “We are looking forward to the future working with both the Kenco and Maxwell House brands. There are many exciting developments to come in the in-cup market.”
The Banbury site, of which the in-cup production was only a small part, will continue to run as normal.
