In January 2008, Kraft announced its intention to transfer its equipment and servicing operation to the maintenance services specialists, GVS, stating that the partnership will enable them to focus on its core business of providing great coffee.
Justin Cook, General Manager of Kraft Foods Away From Home said: “We are confident that GVS is the best partner to take forward our equipment and service operation as it already successfully provides similar services to other leading companies. This partnership will ensure we continue to provide great service to our customers”.
The transition was completed at the end of July and both parties have worked closely together to ensure the minimum level of disruption to their customers. GVS Managing Director, Debbie Mann explained: “GVS is delighted to have been chosen as Kraft’s partner. As a specialist service organisation we focus on providing outstanding levels of customer service”.
GVS, which originated from a MBO from Wittenborg in 1995, has experienced significant growth, particularly in the last couple of years and has earned itself an enviable reputation of providing a high level of service and is recognised as a major third party service provider.
