Are you making use of your AVA member benefits? Being a member of the AVA gives you the right to participate in regional meetings – an informal opportunity to network with fellow members and discuss the issues affecting the vending industry over dinner! AVA regional meetings are your opportunity to get involved with issues relating to your Association.
Held on the second Tuesday of every month, the next regional meeting is the first meeting of 2011 for the Northern region and will be held on 8th March at the Holiday Inn, Leeds – Brighouse. The Scottish regional meeting will follow, on 12th April. Make sure you register your interest to secure your place with Bridget Scott at the AVA office. Another member benefit comes in the form of negotiated rates on hotel accommodation for those looking to stay overnight – these places are limited and subject to availability, so don’t delay your reservation!
The Association relies on you – its members – to provide feedback on the events and benefits it works hard to provide, so don’t forget to send us your suggestions so that we can work to develop your Association. Remember also that the Association is always looking to bring in external speakers, so send us your thoughts as to who you’d like to hear! As the ‘voice of vending’ the AVA needs support from you – its members!
