Geoff Turner, director of Care Vending, sadly passed away in May after a long battle with cancer.
His son Daniel Turner, managing director of Care Vending, said: “Geoff spent over 40 years in the vending industry. His early days were spent working for Mars in Slough and eventually he set up his own operated vending business with Care Vending Services.
“He was always passionate about vending and even in the last few months would come into the office each week to catch up with the team. He was also a very keen supporter of the Cover Group collective of vending operators.”
Mr Turner’s funeral will take place on Thursday, June 15 at 1.15pm at Harwood Park Crematorium, Watton Road, Stevenage, SG2 8XT.
The funeral will be a celebration of his life and not a religious ceremony and the family have asked that anyone attending to wear bright colours.
The ceremony is to be followed by food and drink at Stevenage Golf Course, Aston Lane, Stevenage SG2 7EL.
Floral tributes are welcome or alternatively donations to Cancer Research UK will be greatly appreciated.
