From 24 to 26 September 2015, the international vending and coffee sector will be meeting up at Eu’Vend & coffeena in Cologne. 175 suppliers from 24 countries will present the latest products and solutions on the themes of vending, coffee, hot drinks, supplementary products, snacks, drinks, refill products, payment systems, cups and services.
“Eu’Vend & coffeena will once again be offering international trade visitors the opportunity to gain a complete overview of the industry at one location in condensed form,” commented Dietmar Eiden, vice president Trade Fair Management, Koelnmesse. “In light of the special ‘Vending Innovations’ event, the focus of the trade fair will be on trendsetting innovations.”
In addition to special events, the range of exhibits will be accompanied by a practice-oriented supporting programme with discussion rounds and live presentations. The conceptual sponsor of Eu’Vend & coffeena is the German Vending Association e.V. (BDV). The trade fair is also being supported by the European Vending Association (EVA).

A focus on innovation
With the ‘Vending Star’ and the ‘Vending Innovation’ areas, Eu’Vend & coffeena is placing a clear focus on innovation. The Innovation Prize will be conferred for the sixth time during the Eu’Vend & coffeena Night on 25 September 2015. All of the nominated entries will be presented during the trade fair at the special ‘Vending Innovation Area’ zone (D040).
At 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 25 September 2015, an international expert panel will be discussing ‘Visions of Vending’ in the scope of a podium discussion hosted by Eric M. Schwaab, publisher of the trade magazine ‘Vending Report’.
In the heart of the trade fair action, ‘The Red Sofa’ will again in 2015 serve as an information and communication meeting point. Here, futuristic themes are on the agenda, such as the development of vending or innovative concepts, but also operational issues such as tax and training issues and daily live barista demonstrations (C050).
The special event ‘Water Works’ (E009) focuses on the theme ‘water’, the subject matter here will be the implementation of water coolers in practice and their viability. The trade visitors can inform themselves about the themes storage place safety, investments, contribution margins, hygiene and innovative customer bonding services at the trade fair. Experts from the industry are taking on the role of sponsors for the individual themes.
