Crane Merchandising Systems has been named Supplier of the Year for 2014 by NIVO, the National Independent Vending Operators buying group. The award recognizes the durability of Crane’s equipment which has been highly rated by NIVO members.
“Our positioning in the industry reflects the extremely high quality equipment we supply to our customers,” said Mike Kane, sales director for Crane Merchandising Systems. “We pride ourselves on the success of our products, both in terms of their long life cycle and the high level of repeat business we receive from customers who have used us for years.”
Managing director of NIVO, Graham Kingaby, is pleased to honour Crane Merchandising Systems with the award, which was presented at a members’ champagne lunch in Yorkshire. “This is a marvellous endorsement from our members for consistently good products. Crane always sets the bar high. Members are asked to vote for those that they believe provide great service and outstanding customer satisfaction, and indicated that Crane was a deserving winner.”
The accolade comes approximately six months after the successful launch of the company’s Media platform. This latest technology from Crane, which is focused on improving consumer engagement and same-store sales growth for operators, is now in use across a range of its high performance equipment including freestanding cold beverage, coffee and snack machines.
