Burts Chips has increased capacity at its Devonshire factory by 20% by installing a high-speed frying line and adding 12 jobs.
The £3m investment in equipment and staff will help meet the growing demand from across the UK, as well as further afield.
The potato fryer is the company’s second high-capacity line to be installed and the tenth overall at the Devon production site.
