Business account manager for professional products at BRITA Water Filter Systems, Les Pearce, will be retiring early in June after six years at the company.
Les, who has worked in the vending industry for 31 years, helped Brita build the vending side of the business, forming good partnerships with customers and colleagues alike.
Les said: “It’s been absolutely fantastic working for Brita and in the industry for 31 years. This is a very close-knit industry and I have met some wonderful people over the years. I am so passionate about vending and it’s the kind of industry that once you get into it, you stay in it for a very long time.
Les, who is moving to Anglesey with his wife, will miss the industry and colleagues, but believes “vending is going in a positive direction”.
Steve Buckmaster, director of sales, professional products, said Les would be missed but the company wished him the best on the next phase of his life.
BRITA is in the process of appointing a new business account manager for the vending sector.
