Marco Beverage Systems has announced the appointment of Luke Thorpe to the post of UK Sales Executive.
Luke’s experience in the out-of-home beverage industry stands him in good stead as he takes up his new rôle. He joins the Company following two years with leading coffee specialist, United Coffee, where he was a key account manager. Prior to that, Luke spent five years as a golf professional at Wokefield Park Golf Club near Reading.
His new remit will be to manage Marco’s existing accounts and develop business right across the board, amongst distributors and wholesalers on the one hand, but also with coffee suppliers and roasters nationwide.
He reports to Marco’s UK Sales Director, Chris York, who welcomed him with these words: “Luke’s experience in the coffee market will stand him in good stead as he takes on the job of managing and increasing Marco’s business. He will be responsible for expanding our trade amongst existing customers and introducing new clients to Marco’s range of products. I wish him a long and successful career with the Company.”
