Friends and colleagues joined together in Manchester on Wednesday 1 July 2015 for The Vendies, the annual awards dinner for the industry, celebrating the achievements of the past year.
Organised by Datateam Business Media (home to Vending International magazine) in association with the AVA and the EDWCA, The Vendies is designed to recognise outstanding products and people in the vending industry.
Taking place alongside AVEX 2015, expectations for the event were high and guests were not disappointed. Almost 400 members of the vending and water industries gathered at the lavish Hilton Manchester Deansgate to honour and reward the hard work and exceptional service provided by outstanding individuals and companies in the sector.
Sponsors and their guests attended an exclusive VIP drinks reception at the Cloud 23 bar, located on the top floor of the hotel, before joining other attendees for a pre-dinner champagne reception in the striking Deansgate Foyer. Comedian Paul Sinha hosted the evening, presenting 19 awards for outstanding performance. Guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal followed by entertainment from local band The Rush, who filled the dance floor with a combination of northern soul, rock and pop classics.
